A Zaku is a monarch or ruler that lives on the island of Y'aaj.

To become a Zaku, you must be a Y'aajese person and you also must have been born on the island of Y'aaj. When a Zaku dies, strong military men stand in line in a ceremony. They only choose three of the men to be candidates to the throne of Zaku and they have the three men fight in a battle to the death. When one wins, he will be crowned Zaku, monarch of Y'aaj. To be Zaku, you must have also had to have slain a Feengax.
